Established in Bristol in 2017, King and Webbon design and make contemporary furniture using a carefully-selected palate of natural hardwoods for warmth and durability, complemented with innovative materials such as Richlite for texture and colour.
Drawing inspiration from great icons like Finn Juhl and Robin Day, and referencing art deco, Danish modern and Japanese aesthetics, King and Webbon’s designs showcase traditional wood working skills alongside modern technology. Our furniture is meticulous and crisp with gently softened details, and we like to think sparks joy to sight and touch.
Founder of King & Webbon is designer-maker Andy King. Originally from an engineering background, Andy’s passion for woodwork developed as a child while working alongside his Dad, a carpenter of over 50 years. This inspired Andy to change career and train as a furniture maker, with a focus on designing and making furniture that is beautifully crafted and environmentally responsible.
Our furniture is made to order so sizes, materials and design aesthetics can be matched to your exact requirements. Please do contact us for lead times for specific items. We undertake bespoke commissions for private and business clients, so we’d be delighted to design and make to your projects requirements whether it’s a single piece of furniture or an entire bespoke fit out.
